United Parcel Service Complaint - UPS Insurance claim denied part of doing business?
Resolution Update on 07/26/2009:
Debbie, went the extra mile, to help me, if only they had a hundred more of her.
We shipped a package which was not only well protected but also was packaged to three times the standards that UPS has published as the minimum acceptable package standards.
The Consignee contacted us stating that the package and its contents had been destroyed by UPS, the consignee stated that in the presence of the UPS agent they did inspect the item and found that it had been damaged, they refused the item and it was returned to the UPS store where it was shipped.
The consignee demanded payment for the item he had purchased from us and after inspecting the item it became obvious that the item had been dropped either from a great height or the item had been struck by a fork lift or some other heavy equipment.
UPS has refused to pay a demand for payment of a valid insurance claim.
We find that there are other numerous alleged complaints concerning UPS.
We will never use this company to ship anything ever again.
