Priceline.com Complaint - No Fellow Feeling
My daughter booked a flight through priceline.com. She needed to amend her flying dates because her son, my grandson, is very ill. He has had several open heart surgeries in the past few years and is currently running a fever of 104-degrees, which is high even in a healthy person. She didn't mind paying a small fee for any changes, but they would not budge. She would have to pay $100.00 - $150.00 in order to do this. The flight itself was $200.00 ---- so much for a good deal. I would like to add that I also tried. I finally got a "real live person" on the line, but the end was still the same. I feel that there should be some compassion shown for individuals with hardships. What mother would leave her very sick child? It doesn't matter to Priceline - they get their money one way or another. I would like to close by saying that I will NEVER book through Priceline, and neither will my family members or close friends. If more people would complain about this lack of service and this lack of humanity, perhaps these corporations would have to re-write some of their policies. As it stands, however, it's MONEY and NOT THE CUSTOMER that gets top priority!!!! PRICELINE - You should be ashamed of yourself.
