JP Morgan Chase Complaint - Chase is Crooked and Does not Care for their Customers
I have had my Chase account for 4 years and made regular payments. I had an interest rate of 3.99% Fixed until the amount was paid off. Chase even gave me options to skip payments because of my track-record. But one day I was literally 5 hours late with my electronic payment (which was still made on the due date). I called chase and apologized and wanted to verify my status was not affected. Not only was I charged the late fee (which I deserved), but my interest rate was changed to 22.49% AND they charged me that rate for the entire previous month. I talked to 3 different individuals and they all (rudely) said there was nothing they could do to reinstate my previous rate. I then asked what rate could they lower it too-the answer was "There's nothing we can do." What a fat lie. I was given NO options for refinance. Nothing. How can 5 hours (verifiable)turn my good standing account into a high risk default!!!!! Chase is NOT helping anyone and I am telling all who will listen. DO NOT CHOOSE CHASE FOR YOUR PARTNER IN BUSINESS! THEY ARE RAVENOUS WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING!
