Target Complaint - Rude Service
FLINT -- On July 13 purchased a GPS holder @ Lapeer Road store. Broken.
I drove across town to the Miller Road store to locate a new one. They didnot have the item. I tried to return the holder but was told in no uncertain terms "that you didnot buy this"??? "It's on my Target visa. I want a manager."
The manager told me the same thing. I said that's impossible I just purchased it today.
"Well, that's the problem! Our machines will not update purchases for 24 hours. I can give you a gift card with a 'no receipt refund' but that's it." I told her no way. My card IS MY RECEIPT. I left the store. The security guard followed me to my car but didnot interfere with my leaving.
The next day I returned the item to the original store and told my story. He gave me this site.
Not to have computers talk to each other in a business for 24 hours is absurd. The customer relationship that the Miller Road store left me with, is to NEVER buy another product from Target. They treated me as a fool and a thief.
