Ron Craft Baytown Tx Complaint - Bend Over - No Start Repair

Review by The white man on 2009-07-19
BAYTOWN, TEXAS -- I've been a mechanic for 47 yrs. I checked my Caddy for not starting. I narrowed it to a starter relay. No one could pin point which it was, including the dealer? I hired a wrecker and had it towed to the dealer. I told the service manager that I was sure it was a relay.

Plugging in a scanner takes 10 seconds, reading the codes and decifering them at least 2 minutes.

My relay was replaces. Two hrs labor, relay didn't fit my harness, relay $45.,a plastic adapter,$45. Use of the shop,$30.14. Bill $331.36.

How in hell do these people get away with this? And I told them the problem.

Owned GM all my life but this is really sour grapes.
