Wal-Mart Complaint - Online VS Retail not the same, or are they?
CHEVY CHASE, MARYLAND -- I purchased a defective and possibly refurbished Saltwater Filter System from Walmart.com. The Packing Slip noted to take the Defective product to a Walmart Retail store for exchange and or refund. Apparently, Walmart would not exchange the product because there was such a huge Price difference from the retail store and would only credit back the price of the item less Shipping! The Manager said that this is the way it was because Walmart.com is a different retailer? If that's true, how come they will credit me back some of my money and take the item? I will never purchase anything from Walmart.com again, they cannot be trusted and I will advise everyone I know to do the same.
