LandAmerica/BHWC Complaint - Unresponsive Service

I have been waiting for my upstairs AC unit to be repaired for 14 days. I live in Arizona and it is currently 115 degrees outside. It is 92 degrees in my bedroom.

They have been slow and uncommunicative since day one. Once the tech diagnosed the problem we thought we would wait a day or two for the part to arrive and we would be good. Four days later, I called them to find out the situation and was told they were waiting for my approval since there was an additional fee for disposal of hazardous material. Thank God I called them, since they weren't planning to call me. I gave my approval and was told the part was ordered that day.

That was 5 days ago. Today after 2 hours on the phone and 5 calls to various people, I find out that the fax was never sent and the part didn't get ordered until 1 pm today--FROM NY. Too late to be shipped out today. I am looking at 4 more days before this matter can be resolved.

Needless to say, I will not be renewing my home warranty next month when it is due.

Stay away.
