JetBlue Complaint - True Blue Points a scam
Don't transfer points from AMEX to Jet Blue. It's a trap. I transferred a year's worth of points to Jet Blue to book a vacation for my family. You can't hold them online while you transfer the points like other airlines...unless you call...which they don't tell you. Went back in to book the flights and they were already blacked out. Have tried 3 more times to use the awards, but have also gotten blacked out...no matter when I have tried for. The points would never have expired if left in AMEX, but now JetBlue says that I have to use them before Sept for one and Nov for the rest of them. They also have a convoluted point system that has changed 2 times over the past few years. Used to fly JetBlue exclusively. Customer Service is a thing of the past with them. Unfortunately, they forgot that CS is what got them "off the ground" in the beginning. If they don't get that revelation soon, their beautiful new terminal at JFK will be worth nothing. I'd rather leave from a shack on the runway that has customer service than a palace that forgot where they came from! Was told by the True Blue Rep that I couldn't have his manager's name and that there was no one that would change anything for me. Use them or lose them. It's a scam!
