Stamps.com Complaint - Another stamps.com victim - stamp service

stamp service - Complaint
Review by marcimorg on 2009-07-21
After noticing a charge on my credit card from stamps.com I called and explained that I never had any intention of using their service, period. They claim they sent me an e-mail stating that they would be charging me after a 30-day trial period. I never read it because I was not going to use their services. Still, after the representative tried repeatedly to have me sign up, they told me my $15.99 was gone. No wonder they are going out of business. They gave me nothing and took my money. Good riddance to stamps.com.

"I never read it"...duh ya gotta read what you sign up for! How hard it that to understand?
I've been using stamps.com for a couple of years and had no problems. And no I do not work for or receive any compensation from them.

If you did not intend to use their service, how did they get your credit card number?

Right on their website it says.......How does the No-Risk Trial work?
New customers are eligible for our 4 Week No-Risk Trial. Simply cancel before the trial period ends and you will not be charged. If you like the service, do nothing and your account continues automatically.
Looks like you should have read those emails.
