Factory Direct Furniture In Washington State Complaint - Factory Direct Does Not Care About Customer Service Beyond There Showroom

My husband and I bought a davenport and loveseat that recline on both ends from factory direct home furniture in Tacoma Washington in November 2008.
In March 2009 we noticed that both ends of davenport were sagging and that both loveseat and davenport reclining ends were not working correctly. Since these were still under manufacture warranty I called factory direct at there main warehouse in Kent Washington, and was told a technician would be out in April to look at them. April came and no tech. I called and was told that no tech comes out to were we live and to take digital pictures of the problem, which we did and sent to them. From there they ordered the wrong parts and parts were on back order and we were told that a tech would be out after parts came in. Finally in June 2009 parts came in and then we were told we that ifd we payed the 35.00 charge someone from factory direct would pick them up. July came and once again we were told that factory direct does not pick up furniture we would have to bring it in.

They would not budge on any of there polices nor do they give a copy of any of there warranty policies to there customers. No were does it state on any paper work that we were giving that customer has to bring in furniture that needs repair. Also I was told that a tech does come out were we live by the woman I was dealing with at factory direct in Kent Washington in April 2008 and then was told no they do not by the same woman.

FACTORY DIRECT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS AND THEY DO NO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. AND THEY LIE TO THERE CUSTOMERS. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THESE PEOPLE SAY!!!

I finally got so fed up that I contacted the manufacture, and a representative from the manufacture went out of his way to help us, not factory direct.
Even with the manufacture factory direct would not bend there rules. finally the manufacture was able to help us get the davenport and loveseat one at a time repaired so we would not have to sit on the floor for as long as it took for factor direct to repair them.

SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF AND TIME, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ANY FACTORY DIRECT FURNITURE STORE.

THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS ONCE YOU BUY THERE MERCHANDISE AND GET IT HOME!!

Find a furniture store that will take care of you once you get the the items home and have problems with them, and factory direct home furniture is not it.
