Sears Complaint - I Will Never Ever Ever Purchase Another Item From Sears!!!
SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND -- I have been a Sears consumer for the past 15 years. I make occasional purchases and have tolerated sub-par customer service until now. I must say this is the last straw. I purchased a Frigidaire from Sears in White Oak, MD. I received the appliance in December 2008. I started experiencing problems in March 2009 and made my first maintenance request. The fridge did not cool and simply shut down. I made a repair order in April and was told that a part would be ordered to resolve the problem. Two weeks later, that part arrived and another repair man came to install. He then informed me that another part has malfunctioned and he must place an order to repair the problem. Mind you, we played this game for the past 3 months. I have reached out to Sears corporate for assistance but to no avail. After over 30 calls to their customer service center...I was finally approved for an exchange. I placed an order for another fridge and was told it would be delivered in one week-the delivery day arrived--waited past the expected delivery time--the malfunctioning fridge was picked up and the fridge was not delivered. I asked why and was told that they could not fit both in the truck at the same time, so it would be delivered the later that day.
The day ended and no fridge. I called on Monday and was then told that the fridge is not available and would be delivered in two weeks. That totals 4 month without a fridge. I am rather disappointed at Sears and their misleading, un-supportive run around games.
I WILL NEVER AGAIN PATRONIZE SEARS AND SUGGEST THAT YOU BE WEARY WHEN SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THEM.
