Hewlett-Packard Company Complaint - Lies and stonewall - Recovery disk for HP Mini 1000
My HP Mini came without a recovery disk. I like to have one since I usually take care of software issues myself for my computers. I called and was told one would be shipped. It never came. I called again and was told it would be sent by Fedex. However, I was leaving on vacation and didn't want it sitting on the front step and I was told to call when I got back and they would ship it then.
I called when I got back, gave my case number, and after 1 1/2 hours on the phone was finally told by a supervisor that they would send it. During the 1 1/2 hour conversation with the tech he was constantly putting me on hold to "conference and document" and then telling me they won't send it.
This is my first experience with HP support as I've always bought Dells. I will never buy another HP again.
If the disk arrives I will be very surprised.
