Country Inns Complaint - Coming apart at the seams

Review by ohmomofthree on 2009-07-27
GEORGETOWN, KENTUCKY -- What deplorable conditions! Made reservations at the Georgetown Country Inns and Suites for two nights. Reserved a two bedroom, non-smoking suite. Arrived and the hallway and room reeked of smoke. There were water stains on the ceiling and a lamp missing a light bulb, another with the shade taped together with scotch tape, the windows would not close, the couch was filthy, and just before bed the plaster on the ceiling in the sitting room fell down. They refused to assist us in finding new accommodations - I had five 11 year old girls and my co-leader with me - 11:30 at night. We had to find our own alternate accommodations.

Glad you walked out. Sounds pretty gross.

Thank goodness you left. Too many people stay then fuss later. You taught the girls to vote with their wallet, way to go!
