Wachovia, Hampton, VA Compliment - Great Friendly Service

I have delt with the Wachovia branch in Hampton, VA as well as the branch in Norfolk, VA.
Both managers as well as staff where extremely friendly and helpful under all circumstances.
The 800-number operators for Wachovia may often sound a little stressed, but are non-the-less very courteous and helpful.
I especially recommend the branch in Norfolk on E. Little Creek Rd.! :)

I even bank at the, all popular, evil... bank of america!!!!
But, I got that bank account before Wachovia came to Texas.
Never had any problems with either one.

Amazon triple billed me at Christmas and threw my account in the negative ($300 a pop will do that). Amazon refused to pay the NSF fees so I called the 800 number on the back of my card. A kind woman reversed all the charges, telling me it wasn't my fault and she hoped I had a Merry Christmas. Wachovia has always been a class act in my book.

(They always give out suckers in the drive-thru, too!)

Eloise, when you ordered from Amazon, you didn't click on the item three times and get billed for it three times did you? One of our members here actually did that ordering a book...clicked it three times, resulting in three orders and three billings...then complained about it because they should have somehow known that she only wanted one, though she ordered it three times! LOL! That was a M3C classic for sure!

No I assure you I didn't 'order' the book three times. LOL! We had ordered a DVD that had yet to be released along with most of the Christmas presents. Instead of mailing it seperately as we had checked off they held the rest of the order and charged our account. My husband called and asked the rest of the order to be released Unknown to us they started a new order and charged our credit card twice. When we finaly got it straightened Amazon had tied up almost a thousand dollars causing a number of NSF. Amazon refused to take responsibilitiy for the problem they had caused. The Wachovia representative was unable to get a live person on the line. As a result she refunded all of the NSF fees. She said that since it wasn't our fault we shouldn't have to pay for it. She was awesome.

Our branch is also excellent. We know our bank manager, our daughters were in the same preschool class. The tellers are efficient and friendly. All in all this bank has proven to be an excellent banking institution!
