Ykzadd.com Complaint - Dishonest Merchant - Television

Review by scotbow on 2009-07-27
NANYANG CITY, CHINA -- I ordered a 65" plasma television from ykzadd.com. The merchant would only accept Western Union as payment method.

After sending payment via Western Union, I got an email from Western Union confirming delivery of the money.

The merchant sent me an email indicating Chinese customs was requiring an additional tax before the shipment could proceed. So, I sent another Western Union payment to the merchant.
Again I received an email from Western Union confirming delivery of the second payment.
The merchant claims to never have received the second payment, and refuses to ship the product ordered.

Dude! Was there anything about this transaction that didn't scream "SCAM"?

Agreed, besides, Western Union is notorious lately for being the payment demanded in scams. It is, after all, a money transfer, and not something like a credit card account where you are generally insured and protected against fraud.

Try reading Western Union's page on this. http://www.westernunion.com/info/fraudIndex.asp?country=global

Good luck!

On Craigs List they post on the top of every page to be wary of any 'deal' that uses Western Union.
