Fondue Haus Complaint - Innappropriate behavior by wait staff

Review by kasowell@hotmail.com on 2001-07-01
ORANGE PARK, FLORIDA -- I was in your establishment on June 30th, of 2001 and when I expressed my displeasure of being without a tea refill for in excess of thirty minutes, I was informed that I was being rude. I am sure you as an owner do not condone this type of behavior towards a customer that was going to spend in excess of fifty dollars in your establishment. I told my waiter I understood that he was busy but it still was more than thirty minutes that my party's glasses went unfilled. I am sure your are aware that when someone is eating hot food they tend to become thirsty. As your waiter was trying to remedy the situation a young girl proceded to walk past me and mumble that I did not have to get rude. I do not appreciate someone that is being paid with my money talking to me in this manner. I am sure you will agree.

At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident.

You started the conversation with a tone that was unfriendly, then you got what you deserved.

I don't know if you "got what you deserved" as poster Raymond put it, because I wasn't there. Raymond, were you there?

I was there and yes, the tone was snippy!

can't you tell from the tone of his letter that this guy would get snippy!?

I' sure her tone was snippy but I would be too after waiting for 30 minutes without a drink refill. Customers keep resteraunts in business so being rude to them is a big no no.

Go to a buffet next time and bring your own water. Food in an instant. What a relief!!!
