Ashley Furniture Complaint - Don't Ever Shop At Ashley Furniture
FREMONT, CALIFORNIA -- I placed our order on May 5, 2009. The order said I was to get it in 6-8 weeks. Low and behold 9 weeks rolls by and no call saying it will be late or no call with upcomming status. So then I proceeded to call and ask where my furniture was. A woman answered and said it would be there in about two weeks. Nothing came in those two weeks. By now I am pretty uspest. I had moved all my furniture out of my room thinking the furniture was supposed to be comming and still did not receive it!!! I called Ashley Furniture to cancel my order because I went out and looked for a new set somewhere else since they did not deliver my order. They said well we will refund your money, but were going to keep 30% for storage fees. Funny right??? Yea well I thought so too, one of the managers hung up on me because I demanded my money back, why do you have the right to take my money after you violated your own contract??!! Too bad they are the ones that lost business because they had poor customer service!!!
Hopefully some one reading this will be moved to the point they will not use Ashley Furniture!!!
