Ashley Furniture Complaint - My Mistake.
MIDLAND, TX, TEXAS -- We put down 369.00 for furniture that they said would be here in6-8 weeks. When I took in the money the maneger said that he would process it right away. They told us of the restocking fees, but who could have known that before I would even get my furniture that they would be calling me for a payment. The maneger and I talked about this in the store, in the event that our furniture had not arrived they could delay our payments. Now its been 7wks. Returns ther phone call thinking they have my furniture. No curtasy call about my payment. I had just spoken with the maneger and he told me to bring in 53.00 dollars. I said to my fiance this was one of the most espensive lesson I had to learn. When I told them to just cancell the order. But if you can not get the customer what they payed for, how can you won't them to continue to pay for what they do not have? The maneger told me that TRS changed their policy about putting customers payment days up. So save your money. Oh, I cvontacted one of the offices and was asked if the problam was that I did not have the money. So now I have no money and no furniture.
