US Airways Complaint - Lack of customer service
Upon receiving a special deal via e-mail and thru the regular mail from my US Air "frequent flier" account, I called the customer service number to book a frequent flier flight as unfortunately booking via the website is unavailable. As has happened in the past, I basically feel that this new frequent flier promotion is basically a "come-on". Unfortunately as in the past when calling the airline I received "canned" answers from a customer service representative. I truly believe that these reps are trained to give answers out of a manual, never deviating from their answer, EVEN if it does not answer the question. Unfortunately their lack of the understanding of the English language is a huge hindrance to helping customers. It is the most frustrating experience to even get a question answered, never mind trying to book a frequent flier ticket. As thankfully I have alternatives when flying, I quickly moved on to a more responsive airline.
