Embassy Compliment - Our Stay At The Embassy Suites/Downtown Cleveland Was Great

Compliment
Review by Pam288 on 2009-07-30
CLEVELAND, OHIO -- We had a wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites. We were greeted by a hotel associate before we even checked in and everyone was very friendly. The Hotel offered an evening reception and made to order breakfast and they made sure we were aware of it and the location, as well as the locations of the other features. The room was beautiful, overlooking the tennis courts. The beds and pillows were fluffy, clean and comfortable. The room was quite large. Both areas of the suite included a large TV so there was no conflict about what to watch. There was a microwave, refrigerator and sink in the suite area as well. It looked as though it had been recently remodeled. Their shuttle service took us to our event in a friendly and efficient manner.

There was a large crowd for breakfast, but the staff were quick to clear off the tables so we didn't have to wait for an available table.

We used their valet parking service (it's extra, but I felt well worth it) and when we checked out, he brought our car to us and offered to give us directions to the interstate.

I felt the suite was a great value for the money and was very pleased with the hotel, the staff and the services.

Great to hear a compliment. If I'm ever there on holidays or business, I will remember this.

I've never been disappointed with a stay at Embassy Suites. There's one located about two miles from my home which, of course, I've never stayed at, but they serve fantastic food in the dining room. Good review.
ZZ, are you trying to stir up a controversy? DB'll getcha, better watch out! :)
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
Ponie, me? Never!
I have enjoyed my stays at the Embassy Suites as well. (VH)

It's not unusual that out of town guest are so impressed with their stay in Cleveland. Thanks for the positive review.

Pay no mind to ZZ...He's never had the pleasure to experience the great city of Cleveland and their people...he's in Denver and that makes him the bitter person he is towards Cleveland. But we still love him anyway, we just learned to excuse him for his lack of knowledge and culture.

Remember the 30 Rock episode about Cleveland?

"If the whole world moved to their favorite vacation spots, then the whole world would live in Hawaii and Italy and Cleveland." - Floyd

Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
I'm not a Drew fan at all...but why are you so jealous of people from Cleveland who becomes successful?
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
Jerry Springer?!
Posted by Wally86 on 2009-07-30:
Jerry Springer, is my fave celebrity from Ohio.
Posted by BokiBean on 2009-07-30:
I never was a Drew Cary fan at all, but he's kind of growing on me since he took over Bob Barker's job.
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
No Boki! Remember my review about him taking over that show? *feeling betrayed*
Posted by BokiBean on 2009-07-30:

Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:

Posted by BokiBean on 2009-07-30:
You know why, though. ZZ, he has kept up BB's appeal for spay and neuter..and I'm a sucker for someone that will do that. Basically, he turned me around for that. Sorry!! =)

Paul Newman!!!!!! Well that does it..no place can be bad if Paul Newman sprung from its loins.
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
Arsenioooooooooooo Halllllllllllllll, blows! So does his new show.
.
DB, I must admit that your list is very impressive!
I met Jesse Owens, when I was like 14!
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
Not to mention all the future famous people who have been and will be conceived at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Cleveland!
Posted by BokiBean on 2009-07-30:
Arsenio has a new show?? LOL noooooo!
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
Is that good or bad ZZ...I haven't sawed the new Arsenio Hall show.
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
I have a lot of family in Cincy.
I guess I will have to find a new state (or country) to pick on, huh?
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
What DB?
Posted by BokiBean on 2009-07-30:
Try Alabama, we're easy.

lol@DB's "sawed"
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
Arsenio comes from one of high crime areas in Cleveland.
You couldn't pay me enough to travel through East 98th and Kingsman.
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
ZZ...you can pick on Buffalo, NY...and I'll join you in that one!
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
The new Arsenio Hall Show ZZ...is that good or bad?
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
I have family in Alabama too. I wanted to move there in the early eighties.
Leave Buffalo alone RICK JAMES, hails from there!!!!

I have no idea why the networks keep giving Arsenio jobs.
He hasn't been funny since he was a sub on the Joan Rivers Show.
DB, his new show was on last night and it is/was horrific!!
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
Well...I don't like Rick James!
Posted by BokiBean on 2009-07-30:
Give me that stuff, that funk, that sweet, that funky stuff....say WHAT?!
Posted by MSCANTBEWRONG on 2009-07-30:
hey...what did Buffalo ever do to y'all...
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
I lived there...that was enough! LOL!
On second thought, maybe it wasn't what Buffalo did to me, but what I did to Buffalo! LOL!
Posted by PepperElf on 2009-07-30:
which buffalo... if you mean ny... eh, the driving there is crap

You can figure out which drivers are from out of town pretty easily - they're the ones who stop when the light turns red.
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
Yeah...Buffalo, NY.
The Concrete Jungle...
Man...the Buffalo Zoo is really the PITS! Talk about STINK! And their Art Museum is a total JOKE! The one thing that sticks in my brain from their Art Museum was a huge painting ... that they called 'art'...and all it was, was a large blue circle painted on white canvas with a little red circle in the upper right corner!
Posted by old fart on 2009-07-30:
The only famous person from My town was Stevie Wonder...
Posted by PepperElf on 2009-07-30:
tho ... they do have some freakin good wings there. :)
The Anchor bar's sauce might make up for some of the driving... especially the suicide sauce. :)
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
My Much Older sister used to hang out at the Anchor Bar every weekend (well, she didn't 'hang' out, but you know what I mean)...she still talks about those Buffalo wings...but again, the Basher doesn't do armpits, so I wouldn't know a good one from a bad one.
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
And Old F...I bet Stevie Wonder never 'seen' anything great there either! LOL!
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
My sister also hung around the Office Bar on Grant Street too...or near Grant Street...she was always on Grant Street with her friends. Only thing I remember on Grant street was a laundromat, Loblaws, Harvest Market and 3 bookies.
Posted by MSCANTBEWRONG on 2009-07-30:
My hubby's from Buffalo...I was there a week ago. It's not that bad...but I do agree the driver's are a piece of work. My father in law actually hit a pedestrian, he wasn't injured, but my F-I-L actually blamed the poor guy...
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
Yeah DB, I bet "Steveland Morrison" never seen such a prolific "3 time poster" as you either.
OF, one of my dearest lady friends is from Saginaw.
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
Well hey, if you're gonna sit there and not talk to me...I'll just talk to myself!
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
Poor kid. So young to be losing it.
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
MS...one thing that I always wondered about, was WHY are all the schools in Buffalo (Except for the high schools) doesn't have any names, just numbers? LOL...I went to School #18 and School #77.
Posted by MSCANTBEWRONG on 2009-07-30:
I don't know...my hubby went to Notre Dame High School...I'll ask if he knows why! LOL...maybe they can't spell so they just number everything!
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
MsCan't, don't take that from her! Defend you hubby's town.
DB, you can't figure that out on your own?
Posted by MSCANTBEWRONG on 2009-07-30:
LOL zz...
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
ZZ...do you have any clue how many times those Buffalo teachers ripped of their students? One teacher collected money for book oders...took our money and we never got our books and she never returned our money! Another teacher used to borrow lunch money from the kids to play the horses! He never paid any of them back either! Yeah, The Basher may not know East from West but gosh darn it, no one can read a Racing Form better than the Basher!
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
MS...I bet your husband knows the history of what went on at the foot of Ferry Street! LOL!
Posted by MSCANTBEWRONG on 2009-07-30:
I wouldn't want to live in Buffalo...too much snow. I've never seen that much snow in my life...We went at Christmas one year and got kicked off the NY State Thruway...16 feet of snow!!!! BUT, I love going to the Bills games. I have NFL Sunday ticket so my hubby can watch the Bills every Sunday.
Posted by MSCANTBEWRONG on 2009-07-30:
Hmm...I'll have to ask about that!
Posted by zzrokk on 2009-07-30:
*BS alarm goes off* So because little DB, couldn't keep up with her marbles, she blames the teachers. Were you at the track, too?
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
I've had my share of days at the track! We used to go across the Peace Bridge into Canada and go to the Fort Erie Racetrack.

MS...tell him W Ferry...not E Ferry...
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
We lived right off Niagara Street, so Canada was our next door neighbors.
Posted by DebtorBasher on 2009-07-30:
How did a Cleveland thread become a Buffalo thread? Must be ZZ's fault.
Posted by littleyaya on 2009-07-30:
