Best Buy Complaint - Best Buy Geek Squad
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS -- This computer was purchased at the end of May 2009 and it worked great until the first week of July 2007, so about a month. When the computer would not boot I brought it into Best Buy because Dell has there service through Geek Squad. I was told I had to drop it off and I would be called within a day or two. A week later I finally called the store and I was told they would have to ship the computer off for repair. after 2 weeks in the shop it was finally returned to the store and I got an e-mail notifying me of pickup. When I wen to pickup the computer I was told I needed to bring in my system disk, no mention of this when they told me to pickup the computer. Went back home, 35 mile round trip and brought back the system disk. It has been at the store for another week now with no mention of when it will be ready. Geek Squad is apparently hiring people that cannot do the work. Whatever you do avoid Best Buy computers and do not get the extended warranty as it has been my experience that people with a warrantly go to the back of the line....
