Priceline.com Complaint - What happened to Customer Services-Special Situations
My fiancee rented me a car to get from one state to another. The car was to be parked and we were taking his truck for a weekend away. He has Multiple Sclerosis and is in a mobile chair most of the time. In other words, he doesn't drive. We had no idea when the form was filled out with his information he would be considered the driver and HE would have to be present to pick up the car. He is 300 miles away, has MS and can't drive. Priceline nor Hertz were willing to help us solve this issue in anyway. I was willing to put the car in my name, my credit card...but, no, they wouldn't do that! I offered to pay extra...just help us work it out but they wouldn't. We had to cancel the trip this weekend because we couldn't afford to be charged and pay for a car we can't use, and rent another car. What is wrong with the world! No one is willing to help anymore. No customer service. After talking to three Priceline representatives and two at Hertz, the end result is Policy, of course. We can't be flexible in any circumstance. Thank you, Priceline and Hertz.
