Northwest Airlines Complaint - Northwest airline please stop doing airline business..(delay issue)

I don't wanna say too much I'm lazy and I don't wanna spend too much time on this thing it would be a waste of time
DELAY!!
my girlfrind took the airline from toronto to seoul connection in Detroit and tokyo
first flight from toronto to Detroit was fine the flight from Detroit to tokyo
was delayed for 18 hours!!!!! and the reason they told my girlfriend was "the system does not work" so they offered the passngers hotel to stay over night (i won't say it's a good thing they did since it is their responsibility)
and they were still making mistake they gave my girlfriend a same room with the other chinese girl
the next day after 12 hours she finally got to tokyo and they set the flight to seoul at 7pm so my girlfriend called me told me what happened with the phone cards that the airline offered (total 3 of them but every card it's like 50 secs ot something so my girlfriend had to rushed and tell me everything but still we used up 2 cards)
so my girlfriend had to wait for another 7 hours
and "good thing" happened.. it delayed again
after 7 hours of waiting it delayed again
so my girlfriend waited for another 3 hours
and she used the last card called me and tell me it delayed again and then the card used up so it hang up itself....
so that's it I don't even know if my girlfriend is still in the airport waiting or the airline offer hotel for them
because when she called me she said they were still waiting in the airport
that's it I'm now worry when she comes back because it's all northwest all over again
if you enjoy waiting then buy it
otherwise.... do not buy!!!!!!!!!

With all due respect, your request for the biggest airline in the world to cease doing business will obviously be disregarded by many people.
Do you know if the delay was caused by mechanical issues, or due to another reason, such as weather?

I'm pretty impressed that the airline gave her phone cards. Long delays like the ones experienced by your girlfriend are unusual aren't normal, but can happen with any airline.

Northwest (Delta) is the largest and best operating N.American carrier in Asia - roots to Northwest Orient.
It seems to me they handled the delays well.
You could have flown AC via YVR and saved a bunch of hours on connecting. You played the cheapest ticket game and got sadly burned.
