Remote Unlocks Complaint - Beware of Remote Unlocks scam

Review by smtula0 on 2009-07-31
My cell phone contract with AT&T run out so I thought I will take the chance and unlock my cell phone to use it as a prepaid t-mobile phone. I used Remote Unlocks website to request an unlock code. I paid $10 and but they did not send me the code, just a message that I can ask AT&T for the code. My loss and I advise anybody thinking about using this company not to bother, it's a scam, rip-off, or whatever you want to call it.

They do offer a money back guarantee. It involves contacting them via snail mail at this address:

Digital Generations Digital Generations
9 Alexandra St
Victoria Garesfield
Rowlands Gill, Rowlands Gill NE39 2JB
GB

Their server may be US based but as you can see they are not a US company.
