Windy Ciry Daewoo car repair shop Complaint - Damaged my Honda Elemet completely as a result of intentionally performed bad repair

Review by kristiyan on 2009-08-01
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- In December I have brought my Honda Element to the Windy City Autodealer repair shop for repair. As a result my engine is not working smoothly, the car stops, the speedometer is not working, the check engine light is on and I can not pass the emission test.
I brought back my car so then can check what was done wrong and to correct it. The car stayed in the shop for 2 weeks and I was assured that the problem was solved. As I took it back, nothing was touched on the car.
I brought the car to an independent repair shop for diagnostic and estimate. The car was mishandled and damaged as a result of what the windy city repair shop did to my car. Most parts were lost due to mishandling and not screwing them completely.
I have filed a a complaint with BBB and hav tried to communicate with him to get this resolved. Please help. I would like to get a full refund 830 of the work done, also to be compensated for the 1 month without a car, and to fix my car.

You would probably need to sue Windy City in small claims court for that.

I will agree they performed a bad repair job, but why would they do it intentionally?

You probably should have gone to a Honda dealership.

The BBB can't do anything but document their bad repair job. You need to sue them.
