Rem2sell Complaint - Ripoff, but Didn't Get Me!

Review by roane on 2009-08-02
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLORIDA -- Rem2sell wanted me to rent my getaway weeks to them, and wanted me to pay them of $1470 with a return of $9000. I was trying to get [snip]Interval International was the recipient of payment. That didn't make sense to me, so I told him I would check with my credit card company American express and have them investigate and let me know if I was doing the right thing, also if there were any complaints. [snip] said they did not take American express and that this was my last chance because they will be selling and renting on Tuesday 8/4/09 and I needed to get on the band wagon.

I did not buy into his bologna. If they wanted my money why not wait. Their website states that it takes American Express.

The credit card logos on their web pages are copy & paste fakes. The only real logo is for PayPal. Good that you didn't fall for their scam. Why should you have to pay them $1470 to rent out your place for $9,000?

Looks like a scam, their entire site is one big C&P job. Can't find much about them before 4/1/2009. And they have their domain name under private hidden registration. Very odd thing to do for a consumer site. Who are they trying to hide from? Maybe the people they are taking the money off of?
