Orbitz Complaint - False Flights
I was trying to book flights from the United States to South America, and Orbitz came up with about 15 really cheap flights, so I got exited, and tried to buy one. One after another the flights were "unable to be booked because the airlines were too busy". I called and they said this meant the flights were sold out, but they decided to leave all 15 non-existent flights in line. Then, as I went to look again, the exact same flights that I looked at before, that were all booked, had gone up in price, and each time I looked they were more and more expensive, but still "sold-out". To me, this is terrible customer service, it's lying, and it's cheating to draw people into non-existent tickets, then raising the prices until people are suckered into buying the tickets. I moved to another flight-booking service just because I didn't want to support their untruthful business and I am trying to warn you to not get suckered into their traps.
