Subway Complaint - Heavily advertised garbage
We decided to try the heavily advertised flatbread sub, so we bought them at the Subway in the Lacey, WA WalMart and took them home. My wife never gets anything on her sandwiches as she is allergic to raw tomatoes and does not like the other stuff, 'garbage' as she calls it. I normally have them drag it through the garden, but wanted to try just the sandwich as it comes from the toaster. We got home, unwrapped the sandwiches, and were both disappointed. The sandwiches shown in the ads are open and almost overflowing, with steam coming off of them. The reality is that the sandwiches were less than half an inch thick and looked like they had been run over by a truck. We were very careful in handling them, and we are only about a quarter mile from the store. In addition, the flatbread had a very doughy taste to it, with a definite aftertaste. We independently decided that in the future, we will stick with a standard sub. I would not give this to a pig.
