DirecTV Inc Complaint - Bad Customer service and Lies
I recently cancelled DTV and went to Dish because of pricing. I was charged a 300.00 early cancellation fee. I have been a customer for 7 years. I called and they admitted to their error and I would be refunded 318.00 in 24 hours. In the meantime a charge of 410.00 went thru my checking account without my prior approval I tired to stop the pending payment but was unable since the bank said direcTV and I had a contract. But I did not authorize this charge. In the mean time I accumulated $134.00 in overdraft fees from my bank and was told now the refund would take 6-8 weeks to get my money back. Yeah right. So in the meantime I talk to another supervisor that does not know crap and gives me a fax number of the refund department in CO. Well I keep getting a busy signal and have a feeling that is a dead end. If I don't get an answer my bank said they will investigate the issue further. LIes and more lies. so now I am out $454.00 plus I don't have enough $$ to pay my bills this week.
