Bally Total Fitness Complaint - Avoid signing a contract with this company
I signed a 3-year contract with Ballys, big mistake but I sucked it up and saw it through. After my contract was up I kept getting billed. I read the fine print and saw that even though I signed a contract with a specific term I still had to cancel after the contract was up, fine...not fine. It is impossible to cancel because it is impossible to get a customer service representative on the line and they do not respond to e-mails. I finally got through by answering prompts that did not apply to my concern just to get a live body on the phone. It took a good 1/2 hour of waiting them out on hold though. I canceled the automated debit and canceled the membership. I told them to send me a confirmation of the cancellation. They e-mailed me something saying that I canceled the automated debit, I though OK...apparently not OK because I am still getting bills. So, now I am going to go through a store manager at the Ballys we signed up with...This is so beyond shady and disturbing that I cannot even believe that they get away with this. Is three years not enough! What do they want from me!
