Bank of America Complaint - Overdraft charges
Beware of shady practices I figured this out the hard way. When you charge ATM card lets say on the 2nd of the month and it goes through on the 5th and at the same time if you have any overdrawn or NSF charges coming in that day they will get posted before your ATM transaction on the second. So lets say you bought some thing for 10 dollars on the second and you had the money that day but by the fifth you only had 25 dollars and you had a Overdraft fee coming in instead of them first pulling out the 10 dollars they will pull out the 35 and then the transaction so what happens is that your account will go negative and you will get charged another 35. Even worse they don't post the fees until the next business day which is 12 am next day so without them even warning you; so if thought you had 15 dollars and went and bought a cup of coffee for 3 dollars that coffee will cost you 38. I have been charged 13 35 dollar fees in the past year and I admit I am not the most responsible person in the world but this guys will take advantage of that and steal your hard earned money.
