Spirit Airlines Complaint - Dissatisfied service
I also had to use Spirit Airlines in September for a family emergency. My future daughter-in-law was killed in an automobile accident, and at the time I made the reservation, I thought the services would be over by Thursday. Once I found out that it was to be held on Friday, my wife called Spirit, well within the 24 hours prior to the return flight and got someone over in India. She explained the situation, but they didn't care. I had to pay another $100.00. We wrote to the corporate office in October 2008, and as of August 2009 no one has even responded. My wife also lost money when she had to cancel a flight, and couldn't use the voucher which they had at that time.
