Nuance Complaint - Forced to pay for technical support

BURLINGTON, MA -- The product is good for the most part but god help you if you require ANY support. I've had to reinstall my products but can't reactivate because how the licensing is done. The website, which is poorly done, does not supply a comprehensive way of reactivating the software. If I want to turn on my software I have no choice except to pay to talk with them. This is not reasonable; e. g. the policy does not take into account a system crash after the support grace period. Frankly I am dismayed by such a policy that delays my productivity AND FORCES ME TO PAY MONEY FOR SOMETHING AS LAME AS THIS! Even if they don't charge me this should have been taken care of through the web site which is now a common industry practice. Words can not express my frustration. I was considering purchasing some of their other product offerings but given this experience I am having second thoughts. Way to go guys. Yet another example of why the USA is in serious trouble.
