Sony Complaint - Sony PS3 Customer service
FOSTER CITY, CALIFORNIA -- Had a problem with a download. A movie wasn't in 16:9 HD and I wanted a refund (since all their movies in HD was suppose to be in 1080p). Mind you I didn't even finish downloading the film so technically it was not even a full purchase. So I called up with the complaint and they said we'll get back to you in about 4 days (4 days for a refund??....). After 4 days I got a call and again I stated my problem. They said again we'll get back to you on another day....(again another delay). After 3 weeks I finally got a call about the problem. Their answer, it is HD; just not widescreen and not in 1080p. So it was SD format under an HD name. They again said no it was HD just not in 1080p or in widescreen. So I said I don't care anymore about the details just refund me my money. They said no because my reason for a refund was because it was not in HD...which it was. I again stressed that 4:3 is not HD and in the end I was trying to row upstream without a paddle. What a joke, I hope no one else ever dares say the word refund to SONY because they will not help you at all. OH YEA, this was about a $4.50 movie rental. I know it's only $5, but it's about getting what you buy.
