T-Mobile Complaint - DO NOT TRUST T-MOBILE!!!
Ok, so T Mobile advertises that you can try out their cellular service and if you decide its not for you, you will not suffer any charges if sent back within a certain time frame. (If the phone isn't used, and if so you will be billed for that usage) This is complete and total B. S. false advertisement! I called T-Mobile around the end of June. I inquired if there was T-Mobile service in my area and was told that it was. I was told that I could try the phone out for TWENTY days and if I wasn't happy with it, I could ship it back in the same box with the return label provided and receive no charge if the phone wasn't used. The activation fee and shipping fee were even waived to reel me in. I received the phone and believe it or not, there was no service here AND they issued me a long distance phone number! I boxed the phone back up and sent it back the following week. So imagine my surprise when I received a bill for $66 in July! I called and they waived the charges after telling me that they received the phone back on the 14th day; "Just in time." Apparently I only had FIFTEEN days afterall. I was told that "Luckily I kept my UPS tracking number so it could be verified." Really? So ya'll don't keep up with that T-Mobile? Anyway, none of my questions could be answered as to what went wrong other than this company trying to scam someone who was paying close attention! So TODAY I RECEIVED ANOTHER BILL! This one for $30. I CALLED AGAIN and was given the same run-around my a very rude woman who kept cutting me off and I assure you I was being polite. I even got a manager on the phone who also could not offer me any sort of explaination! So, I thought I would warn anyone else doing online research before trying out T-Mobile, DON"T DO IT!
