Delta Airlines Complaint - Baggage Chimps at Delta
The wonderful folks at Delta have floundered only 1 flight short of a new record. Or at least I hope it would have been a record. On 3 of the last 4 flights they have lost my baggage. On the return flight yesterday they screwed up their chance at the record book by actually putting the bag on the same plane I was. Must have been Junior High School Employee Day in the baggage area. I should be happy they did not make me purchase separate tickets at full fare for my bags since they flew more miles and had a more varied vacation than I did. But for the extra $15 each way did I really expect them to get the bag on the plane? What could I have been thinking? To start the 4th flight they made me pay the $15 screw you customer bag fee even though I asked R. Wasserman in Denver if they could waive it due to their malfeasance on the prior 3 flights. Not a chance. He even managed a little smile. I guess Delta assumes all those other counters at the airports are selling magazines or something. When they shut Delta for good they should deny unemployment benefits to these people due to incompetence and fraud for collecting a salary and providing no services. It won't be long before people forget the phrase "going Postal" and replace it with "going Delta" on you. I will make sure my peers on Capitol Hill sway the higher ups who actually do the voting to rebuff these idiots if they come to DC for a handout. I'd bet like the foolish auto execs they would fly in to town on private jets - but only because they knew not to fly their own airlines and risk not getting in on time or without bags.
