24 Hour Fitness Complaint - No Value for thier members.
CALIFORNIA -- I have been a memeber of 24hour fitness for 10 years. I loved my membership their and always recommended this club to everyone. I am sad to say they put not value (other than a $ sign) on their memebers. I only pay my fee once a year for $50.00 because years ago I payed 3years in advance. When they failed to contact me that my fees were past due I went in to pay my membership and I was told I was no longer a member. I never received a phone call or letter and when I went in to talk with the manager in Irvine he told me that its not worth it for them to contact me because I only pay $50.00 a year. Then he tried to get me to sign up for a new month to month memebership. When I contacted membership services I was told another manager would contact me in 2 days. When I was finally contacted after over a week I was told the same thing they would not reinstate my membership unless I was out of the country. Why is it that they act like this is brain surgery! Thier employees failed to tell me when I was working out that my membership was going to be cancelled. Pretty much they do not care unless they can make some money off you. Even though I have been a member all my life that didn't even matter. Its unfortunate how much they have changed.
