Southwest Airlines Complaint - I'm not happy with Southwest refund policy
DALLAS, TEXAS -- On 8/10/09 I purchased tickets thru Southwest Airlines website. After paying for the ticket I noticed that the tickets were incorrect. I immediately called and informed them of the problem and requested a refund. The first agent informed me that it would take a day or so for the money to be refunded. I called back later to verify this statement and I was told by yet another agent that it would take 3 to 4 days. I called back on the third day and I was told it would take up to two billing cycles to get my money back. I called to complain to customer service and was told it would take a month. It took them seconds to take the money from my account but it will take months to get my refund. That is a load of crap and I will not fly with these crooks again. Their people don't know what they are talking about and you get the run around. I'm filing a complaint with whatever governmental entity that will listen.
This is theft and improper use of funds. I wonder how many other people were given the wrong reservations that day. It must be a way for them to make extra money.
