SuperShuttle Complaint - No Pick, No Refund
RESTON, VIRGINIA -- I had a reservation on 26 June 2009 for pick-up in Montgomery county MD to Washington Dulles. Shortly before my scheduled pick-up they called and said they had "mechanica" problems and could not pick up. They said to take a cab and they would reimburse me.
When I called the number they gave me for the refund, I got the royal run-around, was disconnected twice, and then they said they would not reimburse the full amount since I had used a third party booking service.
It cost $83 for the taxi. It is now 60 days later, no refund.
I sent a letter to the President of Supper shuttle;

He confirmed receipt, but has since ignored.
I sent a copy of letter to the president and CEO of Super Shuttle's parent compnay;

this letter was totally ignored.
The truth of the matter is there was no mechancial failure. They just didn't get enough booking to fill the van so they deliberatly dumped me, and have no intention of reimbursing the cost of the taxi. From reading the reviews this seems to be a common practice.
