Orbitz Complaint - I will never use Orbitz again
Nine months before a trip to Alaska myself and a group of friends purchased airline tickets through Orbitz. We booked the flight, picked seats and were excited about our trip. Someone we knoew booked later and due to the price guarantee, we were now wntitled to a refund of $207. It all sounds great, right? Just try to ever get a human being at Orbitz! We have spent hours on hold, getting transferred all around. One member of my group is still waiting for her refund, but trying to speak to someone is impossible. Then to top it all, when I went to print my boarding passes for the trip we planned for so many months, I was told that Orbitz dropped the seats. My travel mates had theirs, I was lucky to get a middle seat in the back of the plane, after I had reserved an aisle seat due to a knee problem. It was one of 3 seats that were available on the plane.
On top of it, once you book with Orb itz, the airlines don't really want to talk to you, they keep referring you back to Orbitz, who in turn send you to the airlines.
