Netgear, Inc. Complaint - Bad Customer Service

CALIFORNIA -- This company has absolutely atrocious customer service. It is nearly impossible to get any attention from them. I have held for over an hour without an answer from their tech support. I have also been treated rudely by their tech support personnel. I sent letters to the corporate office and multiple e-mails, and I have still not received a response. The product is inexpensive, but I think you get what you pay for because it is unreliable and there is no customer care.

NETGEAR may have the worst customer service I have ever received. I had a product that was barely 2 months out of warranty and they wanted to charge me over half of what the product cost to help me to get it working again! I was told by the rep on the phone, who could barely speak English, that I could not speak to his supervisor because his supervisor was not there. It might have been different if this was the first trouble I have had out of the product but is is not, I have had several problems with the product. This one just took the cake. I will never have another NETGEAR product again.
