Priceline.com Complaint - Avoid Priceline at all Costs!
When we booked our tickets, everything looked fine. We saw that we started out (in upstate NY) on a US Air flight. At LaGuardia Airport, were to change to a Delta flight. Once we got to LaGuardia, we were told that we needed to leave the US Air terminal and physically get ourselves to the Delta terminal in time to go through Delta Security and check in. Given the distance from one terminal to the next and the volume of travelers at LaGuardia, this was physically impossible. We did get to Costa Rica that day, but only after a nice Delta representative rerouted us. It took us 4 flights and 22 hours to get there, an absurd amount of time from upstate NY. Once in Costa Rica, we tried calling Priceline to change our flights coming back to NY, because the schedule again had us changing from one terminal to another at LaGuardia, this time from Delta to US Air. The Priceline customer service representative told us that it was our responsibility to know if the airline connections would work or not, and that he would do nothing for us. I am writing this from my home, so I did eventually get here, but only because another nice Delta representative rerouted us. Shame on Priceline!
