American Airlines Complaint - Loss of seats
My wife and I made reservations in FEBRUARY for a flight from San Antonio to Dallas to Seattle for us and our daughter and son-in-law to go on an Alaskan cruise. She called 3 days ago to check our seat assignments, and we were told they had moved us. She was very mad and called everyone she could get in touch with but just got the same old bull that they had changed the way they do certain things, and they had reassigned our seats. We are Advantage fliers, and they had our info but never contacted us. So we told them to reassign them again to us. They did it one time-do it again. Oh no, they couldn't do that. I would like to know why a person would make reservations 7 monthes in advance to get "good seats" if he could call in tomorrow and get the seat of his choice. At my wife's work last year, they had an auction benefitting the CMN and, in it, were several vouchers for anywhere American Airlines flys in North America, Canada or Mexico, so we bid on one of them and got it. Now, to tell the truth, I am afraid to use them in that evidently they can change whatever they want to whenever they want to. Very bad customer service. I will never use them again. I told my wife to use Delta. I guess, as far as I am concerned, we will be out the 2 vouchers. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!
