Burger King Complaint - Poor Service - Drive-Thru
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- McDonalds earned more of my business, today, thanks to my local BK. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and was immediately told the amount and to pull around to the window. There was no "would you like to make that a meal?" or "would care for a drink with that?". In this case, I DID want a drink, but I gave the order taker the benefit of the doubt...figuring that they might be busy inside (because the drive-thru wasn't). Anyway, when I came around to the window, I politely asked to add a drink to my order and was told, as she pointed to a little sticker on the window) that they don't accept add-ons to orders at the drive-thru. I was furious, but I always try to make it a point to never take it out on the employee. Instead, I've resolved to no longer patronize BKs. McDonalds will appreciate the extra business, I'm sure, as they've never given me a problem with the occasional last minute add-on. I remember when BK was the pinnacle of "Having it your way". Well, that's alright. I'm no longer concerning myself with "having it my way" because from now on, "I'M LOVING IT!!!"
