Riverhead Honda (jet ski sales) Complaint - Honda of Riverhead screwed me over for a year
RIVERHEAD, NEW YORK -- I couldn't possibly fit all the lies Riverhead Honda told me over the past year so I'll make it short and sweet. I bought an extended waranty from them. My practically new jet ski (one of the two I own) wasn't working. Fact: it took them over a year to fix it. Fact: I was promised it would be fixed by deadlines that came and went over two dozen times. Fact: During the time they were fixing it, they damaged it in several other ways and gave it back to me that way. Fact: they lost the new cover I had for it and told me they didn't have time to look for it (the store was empty). Fact: they told me they lost money on me, yelled at me, and said I could never bring it back there (yes, that's right, refusing to stand by the waranty I bought from THEM). Fact: I bought a house in Florida and planned a trip for one month where I could use the jet skiis in the canal right at the house, didn't buy plane tickets so I could drive down the jet skiis in July of 2009. I drove down there without jet skiis and had to rent them for a crazy amount of money and spent more on gas and tolls then if I had traveled by plane for no reason! They are liars, cheaters, and blame everything on Honda USA, Honda USA blames everything on them. Bottom line - I was screwed over for a year - jet ski depreciated, damaged, cover lost and I not only got no compensation for this, but was yelled at by owner like I was the one who did something wrong. Stay away from Riverhead Honda!!
