Sears Complaint - Sears repairman never came out for appointment that is because I purchased the warranty and we are not paying costumers
TAUNTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- I was experiencing difficulty with my washing machine and scheduled an appointment for repair. The serviceman did come out but could not repair the machine because a part needed to be ordered. I received a call on August 16, 2009 to schedule an appointment to fix the machine. Although the part had not come in, they assured me it would be by Tuesday, August 18, which it did. I was scheduled for service on Friday August 21 between 8 A.M. and 12 P.M. When 3:00 rolled around that day, I called the repair center to make sure that I had the date correct. Sure enough I was scheduled for 8/21 between 8-12. I was told that they repair men were running behind and that they needed to reschedule. I did not receive any phone call from anyone telling me that the repair people were running behind. Mind you I took the day out of work to be here- so I am losing out monetarily but had to make the sacrifice to get my machine repaired. After many many phone calls and being put on hold a total of 15 times, yes 15 times, I was told that the repair man would come out tomorrow 8/22 between 8-5. I just wasted a whole day on Friday waiting for Sears to come and now I have to waste another day- on Saturday. I could of called a local repairman and had it done sooner. I also tried unsuccessfully to speak to a manager and asked to be compensated for my time that was wasted. All I received was the run around, and every time the repair call center tried to contact me with someone else, I was disconnected. Very, very, frustrating. I feel if I did not buy he warranty, that they would of been here when they were scheduled because I would be paying them money. I will not refer Sears to anyone I know that are buying appliances. I am done with this store!!!!
