Salvation Army Complaint - ripped off by the salvation army!

Review by citygrrl79 on 2004-06-25
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- 2 men from the Salvation Army came by to pick up my donation. I later realized that my digital camera was missing. I contacted them to see if I could get some information. They wouldn't help at all, claiming that there was no way of knowing, even though it was a scheduled pickup and the driver had to sign the receipt he gave me. I have filed a police report, but they have nothing to go on since this organization won't cooperate. All I know is, I am never ever ever donating anything to them again. I wish I had just thrown the item I donated into the garbage. At least I would still have my camera.

Bottom line, if I donated something and that's what ends up happening with them, they couldn't get me to give them the time of day there on.
