To whom it may concern:
I am an extremely dissatisfied guest with your company and its financial department. I have been embarrassed and humiliated at my work place along with harassed, discriminated against, and made a complete fool of. I have tried to contact individuals to rectify this situation and have been hung up on, called names, completely disregarded and transferred from extension to extension without ever bringing my frustration to an end. I am writing this letter and mailing it to each and every address that I have acquired. I am expecting a personalized phone call by someone who can actually make a sound decision. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I am going to start with the most recent situation that I am dealing with and please keep in mind that this is only “the straw that broke the camels back”. I refuse to go into detail via this letter as to each and every situation that has occurred with your financial department. I do not wish to waist any more of MY time.
I had been working with a woman by the name of Mrs. Gillespie that was an employee at your Daimler-Chrysler Financial department. I had fallen behind in my payments due to moving to a completely new city. Mrs. Gillespie was working with me and had let me make payments to catch up with my payments. I had most recently made a payment via western union in the amount of $300.00 as directed by Mrs. Gillespie. It turns out that Mrs. Gillespie now no longer works for your company. On the date of June 23rd at 1:00 in the afternoon I was approached at MY PLACE OF WORK by a tow truck company here to REPOSES my car. This was all done in the company of co-workers and my employees alike. Extremely confused with the situation I immediately tried to contact Mrs. Gillespie to see what was going on. After not reaching Mrs. Gillespie I called the 1-800 number frantically trying to reach anyone that would be able to help me. Keep in mind that this was all at my place of work. I did finally reach someone in the finance department who was shocked to hear that my car was being towed. They then put me to the “Team Leader” a woman by the name of Nicole. Nicole was just as shocked as the last person to hear that my car was being towed. Nicole had asked me to try to get the driver and have them call her. When I went down to meet the tow truck employees they were gone along with my car. I was never given any documentation or even notification on hard copy by them. I called back and told Nicole that they were gone. Nicole then told me she would call the contact at “Cowboy’s towing company” to have them return my car. It turns out that Mrs. Gillespie had left the company and she never followed through with any of her work that was pending.
Obviously I was extremely upset by this and asked for a manager so I could talk to him/her regarding the situation. I was given the name of a Mrs. Leah Nixon at 913-851-6460. I immediately called Mrs. Nixon. When Mrs. Nixon answered the phone I gave her my first name and she said “Is this Mr. Bottaro” I replied yes. She then said “What is it that I can help you with?”. I replied “obviously you know my situation because you obviously know my last name” I was in no mode to play Mrs. Nixon’s little head games while I was at work as frustrated as I was. Mrs. Nixon told me that she would have to review my file and call me back. I had asked Mrs. Nixon not to do that that I would prefer that she reviewed my file while I was on the phone with her. I had even told Mrs. Nixon that I would “fill her in”. Mrs. Nixon stated that if I did not hang up she would hang up on me. I will tell you that this woman is the most inconsiderate and downright rude person that I have ever dealt with. Mrs. Nixon talked to me like I was a three year old kid and insulted me numerous times throughout the phone call. Mrs. Nixon did state that it was a mistake on the part of Mrs. Gillespie and that she was calling the tow truck company to retrieve my car. Mrs. Nixon told me she would contact me in about an hour with the details on how they would get my car back. She did state that she was going to try to talk to them to see if they were going to have to pay to have my car returned to me. That is ABSOLUTELY not my concern, my problem and I could care less if Chrysler was going to have to pay for it.
Mrs. Nixon left for the evening and never followed through with a phone call back to me. Can you imagine having your car taken from you at your work place and then having to go home at night not knowing what was going on. Not even receiving a phone call back? Can you see my frustration?
Mrs. Nixon passed me along to a woman by the name of Leslie who told me that Mrs. Nixon left remarks on my account stating not to release my car unless I now paid the entire balance due which is about $2000.00. I believe Mrs. Nixon did this purely out of spite and was totally contradictory to the previous conversations that we had.
I demand attention to this matter. I demand attention immediately to this matter. I have been complete taken advantage of and do feel that I am having this hard of a time due to the fact that my car is almost completely paid off. I feel that Chrysler financial feels that they can make money by taking a car that is almost completely paid for.
I am aware of the fact that I did need to pay $298.00 which Mrs. Gillespie had said I could pay on Friday 6/25/04 to make me current. I am more then willing to pay that to receive my car back. I absolutely refuse to pay the enire balance and also believe that I should have at least one payment, if not two deducted from my final bill. Once again this is just one situation in where your Financial company has mislead, or given me misinformation which has caused me much frustration in paying my car payment. If I do not receive a response via a telephone call and get this situation completely resolved I will continue to go through every avenue available to ensure I am heard and that no other person is ever faced with your financial department’s cruelty ever again.
