Value City Complaint - Value City Customer Service - Horrible
ST. ANN, MISSOURI -- This is to just share my pathetic experience with Valuecity. Initially I went to shop for a platform bed and the sales associate showed me Mya platform bed and mentioned that the bed + headboard is together 299.
I was excited and booked the same. Late upon research found out that he gave me an incorrect info and the headboard is not sold along with bed.
Later I went to pick up the furniture and they gave me a queen size bed instead of king size, due to some incorrect labeling. I realized it while assembling the whole stuff at home. I called them up and requested them to come and replace the queen bed with king. They initially told that it won't be possible for 1 week. Later they said it will take min 3-4 days as they don't provide service on Sun-Mon. This happened on Sat and I was asked to wait until Tue. More than this was the rude behavior of the customer service which was very disappointing and disgusting.
My request was to have them send the replacement on the same day because my bed was lying half-assembled in a unusable state and its impractical to keep it that way for 3 more days.
Value city don't have a customer service number to contact directly. You are bound to talk to the store manager for any escalation.
I would never recommend anyone to purchase from ValueCity. and unfortunately if you have to, then please do diligent research of the product online and never trust the words of their sales rep.
