Lee Webweb on eBay Complaint - Counterfeit Xbox Product
HONG KONG -- I bought a Xbox 360 20 GB hard drive from eBay through these folks. The item number is xxxxx Which I paid through Paypal 25.44.
When I received the item, it was a 120 gb hard drive with no internal "guts", It was a counterfeit / fake item and broken.
I have sent around 7- 11 emails to these people explaining what happened. I finally gave up and filed a report to Paypal, eBay, and Microsoft (makers of the product).
Now I have to send the item back to Hong Kong to get a "refund" if I even get one. They also have two different places they have listed to ship it to.
One of which is the first one.
I know I probably will receive nothing for this, but I am very upset that people like me get taken advantage of. And I don't want this to happen to other people. I do have all the emails still if you need further info. I kept everything from eBay and all communications via email. I really want to see these people put out of "business". I know it is only $25.44 I would be out, but I am going to return the item from Paypals instructions on wed. August 26th on my day off unless I get something from you before then. I am going to do this via UPS so I can have a tracking number and go from door to door and will be accounted for 100 percent of the way. This will cost (approximately $20??) BUT, supposedly the company said they would pay for shipping, which I doubt.
The company is doing thousands of sales. Literally in a couple of days they have sold several thousand items. BUT, look at the feedback, it looks like they are buying and selling to themselves and giving themselves feedback.
Any thing I can do to help, please let me know
This was taken from my email to the IC3 for internet commerce.
